I would really like to know that the developers are at least reading these posts in order to see what needs fixed. I would also hope that as these bugs were fixed the developers would reply to these posts to let people know they were fixed. Maybe one of the developers could clean up this page and delete the issues that have been resolved.

I don't mind game rules changing suddenly, but I am getting pissed at the gameplay actually contradicting the written rules on how the game works. I consider these events bugs that need to be fixed...If the game is working correctly then the guides and info pages need to correctly reflect that! Justondean 19:11, 1 May 2008 (PDT)

BEFORE submitting a Bug Report, you might consider trying these things: a) Reread the main wiki (http://wiki.hive7.com/Knighthood) and make sure there haven't been any recent updates that may address your issue b) Refresh your web browser, clear your browser cache/page history, restart your computer, wait 5 minutes and try again, and any other such activities that may clear up any technical issues on YOUR END c) Try accessing the game on a DIFFERENT web browser (i.e. if you normally run on Internet Explorer, try Mozilla Firefox and vice versa) to see if it makes any difference d) Check the discussion board to see if others are experiencing similar problems (search all topics on the DB using the convenient "Search Box" in the upper right corner) e) Read through the Bug Reports ALREADY LISTED here to make sure that the problem you are experiencing has not already been reported by someone else.

[edit] I have inadvertently taken control over my Liege

I was moving up and down the hierarchy of my Liege (who is my Liege's Liege and so on) as well as the hierarchy of some of the people who have been attacking him and I noticed an "Attack" tab. I have NEVER gone to war (meaning I have never Gathered my Armies) so I've never seen this tab before. I clicked it and was clicking around the attack area. I figured it was a bug but wanted to see what the attack section looked like. Anyway, I attacked someone (once only) before realizing that it actually WAS letting me attack and it was my Liege I was controlling!

Several things of note:

1. From this point on all the Facebook headers and footers were gone... webpages contain only Knighthood data. 2. I can go look and make changes to my Liege's kingdom as though it was my own. I certainly didn't make any changes, but I see that I can.

I assume that when I close the pages and start over things will be restored, but this bug certainly needs to be found and eliminated.

THIS IS NOT A JOKE! I have NO access to my Liege's facebook account. While we are friends, we know nothing about each other's passwords etc. I certainly am in control of something I should not be in control of!!!

For some time now, clicking "Message him" near the top of another player's Lordview page takes me to the message box on *my* Lordview page, not his. This seems wrong, somehow...

I recently got the following message posted on my Lord Wall according to the Notices section and the Recent Activity section:

07/08 Baron Jarrett wrote "Good day, I am a crack-ad..." on your lord wall

This message however does not appear on my lord wall. No matter how many times I refreshed or watched the page in different browsers. The person then raided me some gold then disappeared. Visiting his lord wall, I see the message he is supposed to have posted on mine but on his wall...

My steward refuses to show up. I have verified and revarified my email addresses and done the required upgrades. It says to check my email, but there is none from Knighthood in my inbox or spam. I am unable to delete ANY old posts from my Kingdom wall.

Whenever I click on "Delete Post" I am sent to the lovely:

"My liege, there is a problem! Oops... there was an error processing your request . . ."

I've tried going back and the same thing keeps happening. I'm worried about the wall getting cluttered and people getting confused by out-of-date information.

I'm running Firefox version 2.0.0.13 w/ DSL, but I get the same error message with IE 7 as well. My OS is Windows Vista.

[edit] Automatic Rank Promotions without Castle upgrade

I've been upgrading and expanding my trapper for 2 days. I have 4 days left on each. All of a sudden I got promoted from baron to viscount in the midst of vassal rescues, without a castle upgrade. (Can I possibly be put back to baron?)

REPLY: Promotions in rank now happen automatically based on power.

This has effectively removed "superknights", mercenaries who would amass high power but low rank in order to swear to people for rescues. It also ensures that casual players aren't confused about being Viscounts but losing their vassals etc to a "lowly knight" (of the same TAS). These changes happened with or shortly after Beta-3.AshleyGittins

[edit] Problem with getting the app to load

The app works well and then for no apparent reason when i'm trying to access it it just keeps loading and re-loading the page i'm trying to read. I then have to uninstall and re-install the app for it to work. problem is that whenever I do that it automatically gathers my armies and makes me a target even if I'm not ready.

January 11, 2009: Since the last update, I have been having issues with the pages that require confirmation - ransom, sell vassal, gather armies, etc. When I press gather armies, the page is greyed out, and the confirm box is visible, but it appears to be 'behind' the grey box, and I cannot press anything. I have to back out, and do the action on my other computer. This has only been like this for a couple weeks. I am on a mac, and tried netscape, firefox, explorer and safari, and all are the same. I am not running cutting edge versions of these apps. This makes for an interesting game, not being able to release vassals. Offer ransom actually works, but only because it appears that the cursor was left in the right place, so even though I cant click the box, if I type, the number will be entered. Surprisingly, the marketplace seems to be ok - buying gold is no problem. Hiring freemen is the same problem.

I have had the same problem recently with Firefox 3.0.3. I found that creating a new profile fixed the problem initially, but the problem then came back as soon as I started re-installing the Add-Ons that I use.

I then removed Firefox completely and re-installed it. This has too has proven to be a only temporary fix for the problem.

I have another PC that I use occasionally, it has the same version of Firefox and all of the same Add-Ons installed. It works correctly for me everytime, so I can't see what the difference is.

As a workaround I have found that if you click on the Benefactor ad, the Knighthood menu appears below the ad and Knighthood seems to work as per normal. The only drawback is that all of the facebook menus have disappeared from around the game.

It worked this morning, but now when I click on my knightood link in my profile, I just get: "The page you requested was not found. You may have clicked an expired link or mistyped the web address (some urls are case sensitive)."

I wounder if a developer might be able to make a post on the bulletin board or the wiki abut the recent permanence issues? It's a lot of people that would like to get some type of feedback regarding the performance issues.

I try to login however the page keeps recycling as if it will load however this is not the case. I even changed browsers no good. I cleaned my cache out this did not help either. Please help. I'm using Ubuntu on one computer and vista on the laptop. If you can help please answer to my email thank you.

[edit] Paging Problems

ANY section that has paging has problems when using the browsers forward and back buttons. Example: click [Home], click "see all" for recent activity, click "3" to go to page three. Now go to the capital view, then press [Back] in browser. Home page loads page 1 of recent activity (ok). Now click "see all" and then "Next". Page 8 loads.

i have a real problem with knighthood. i really like this app but after some app-updates i'm not able too see the site correctly. the only browser showing the KH site properly is opera 9.51 (for max os x, i'm using mac os x 10.5.4) but it kicks me out to the FB sing-in page every time i'm trying to do something (that is, to click any function). every other browser works "fine" otherwise but the site is a mess. all the items of the "menu bar" is shown inproperly. i really don't know what to do. the previous version of this great app was working fine but this new one... and actually, i'm not sure if i wrote this to right section but i think this is the only forum to get me heard. (after all, i cannot use the other possibilites due to this 'bug').

- - - - July, 19 2008-Since the last update no Actions are listed on my page. So. I can't receive vassals or gold.

There seems to be some bugs in updating things, (specially healing from the hospital).

When the last vassal is healed, they remain on the "heal vassals" screen under the message saying that "none of your vassals have been wounded". Rob 06:53, 18 January 2008 (PST)

Knighthood does not have a "real time/live" refresh/display rate.  Please reload the page and see if this solves the problem.

- - - - Updating Health (Apr 7, 2008)- I noticed that the health of my vassals does not update automatically unless I transfer them between buildings. Example.I was attacked several times on the palisade till my vassals were all 0/10. I logged on several hours later and decided to transfer several of the 'weakened' vassals to the wall. As soon as I transferred the vassals, their health changed to 6/10 from 0/10. The ones that I did not transfer still showed 0/10 until I transferred them. I have also noticed this for the church bonus. 0 bonus is shown until building transfer then actual bonus is shown. (Actual is only shown for the vassals transferred)********NEW Monday April 7th, 2008********SKulesh

- - - It is not updating Health again, since BETA4 update. But now you have to heal the vassal before it will show the correct health. Even though it does not charge you anything to heal the vassals.****

When I browse between different pages of the game my rank changes dramatically from 61xxx to 50xxx , in no time , noway I'm upgraded / downgrade my rank 11xxx in one minute!!!

Doesn't seem unreasonable. At 61,000 you are definitely at the very bottom end of the ranked 
players (there are only about 100,000 active players total, including unranked (peacemode and
pre-barracks) players, so at that sort of level the rank figure is, as they say in signals
processing, right down in the noise. The fix for this bug is to seize someone! :-)

[edit] vertical scroll bar issues

I use Flock, latest release. esp. with the new beta version of KH, the vertical scroll bar does not allow me to access the entire page. Often, the wall is inaccessible, but sometimes the down arrow will allow me to get to it, when the scroll bar doesn't take me all the way. The problem existed intermittently before, but is worse with the latest release. IE seems to solve the problem, but since Facebook is designed to work with Flock, it seems its a problem worth fixing. I also have an alliance member who mentioned the same thing, and in trying to communicate with me, had to message me through facebook since he couldn't access his wall or go wall to wall.

There's a problem in updating profile information. When I changed my profile name, it was not changed in my knighthood game. My name is still the same as before. I even waited 4 days for that to change but it is still the same as before. though all other applications(including other games) have changed my name.

I am a female, but application has given me the title of "Knight". How do I change my gender in the game?

I have the same issue, in Camino, Firefox, and Safari. Probably all Mozilla type browsers are affected? I find the problem on 3 different Macs, two different networks: No scroll bar on the Home page, messages can not be edited/posted, and the lower vassals can not be seen. The Knighthood survey is also affected! It can not be completed!

Ok, this is infuriating. I'm using Flock as a browser (designed to work with facebook) and with the latest update, I can no longer release vassals, request ransom for vassals, OR DISBAND MY ARMIES!!!!

It is the same issue, where the entire KH game screen becomes shaded, INCLUDING the dialog box asking me if I want to release/ransom/disband. Because it too is shaded, I cannot select any option on it, and I have to go back to clicking the KH icon and go to my Lordview page to get out of it. Please get this fixed soon.

Ok, an update to my problem there: I installed Firefox, which fixed those issues, but now find that there are serious scrolling issues when trying to post on a wall, as in you type an ENTIRE line and some of the next line before the previous line appears in the box.

So the question is: Is there ANY browser that DOESNT have some sort of bug issue?

My vassals are losing their vassals and even though their powers drop, mine stays the same which puts me in a higher attack bracket which allows my vassals to be easily stolen...i have disbanden my armies to temporarily stop this but i need to get into my right bracket...please help!!!

I Have noticed that lately, even though my vassals are released, I recruit more, or they increase their power considerably, my power hasn't changed. My boyfriend, who is also my vassal, was experiencing the same problem!Is there any way to solve that or that is happening because new changes?

My Power is listed as 71. I had been a 59, accepted a vassal (27) and became a Baron and my power jumped from 59 to 71. I tried dropping a 10 to see if it would fix the miscalculation, it didn't. I am using Windows XP and Google's Chrome. I have also checked on Firefox. My Liege, who uses Windows XP and Firefox also sees my power as 71. Please help! I am trying to claim the new 15/15 vassal by registering my email address. I am receiving the email but when I click the link to claim the vassal I get the Knighthood home page and the vassal does not appear. I have tried different browsers as well as manually pasting the link, logged in and out of Facebook. Also, hotmail accounts are not receiving the emails at all. Lots of users discussing this on the Knighthood forums. Help!

My hospital does not heal vassals at all. They don't even heal in ther buildings.They just don't heal at all. What's that about?

My vassals in the Hospital don't heal at all ... and if they do, they don't heal quicker than those outside of the Hospital

Once instance, I moved my vassals from my Hospital to my Court ... and they were fully Healed But were not so in the Hospital

My knights used to heal slowly after a battle (1p every few minutes). Since I used Heal on them at the hospital once, now they don't heal anymore by themselves at all (not even 1p per hour) - they can only be healed at hospital, no other way.

Found that it is possible to heal vassals at the hospital for free, when you are supposed to be charged for it. I had about 4 or 5 pages worth of injured vassals, and when I browsed to one of the later pages and just hit the heal button beside the character. I noticed that it didn't charge me, so I continued to do this for almost all my vassals. The only ones that I believe it actually charged me for were a few on the front page, and on occasion when the page was scrolled all the way to the top so that I could see the gold count. I healed about 1700 worth of gold, and only had about 100 gold to spend, so there is no possible way that they were healed by my gold. This is a heavily broken feature it seems. I believe that the devs can see who edits a page. If they would like more info or cannot reproduce the bug, I welcome the emails.

My vassals in the hospital are not healing at all. The vassals have been in the hospital for about 12 hours. It seems that some vassals on the outside are also not healing automatically. The only unique thing I can think of about my situation is that I had a serf in there with five other vassals. I don't remember having any of the "free" vassals in the hospital before then. Since then, it has not worked properly. I don't have a hospital yet, even so, my vassals do not heal at all. I've waited several days and there has not even been one point worth of healing. (lordid=602446822) (Update) Well, now I have waited some more days, and still no healing takes place. This game does not work this way since I am never able to attack 'cause my vassals don't heal.

[edit] Math Errors

The Capital view has errors related to the Upgrade Level of a building. e.g., if a building is size 5 and has 5 strength 20 knights, the base total is 100, and if it's upgraded to Level 2, it should add 10%, or 10 points. However, the display says +11, even though the total is still correct at 110.

This means the display calculate the bonus as: (0.05 * building_level) * total_building_power

But, the correct formula should be calculated as: (0.05 * building_level) * base_building_power

Or alternatively as: total_building_power - (total_building_power / (1 + 0.05 * building_level))

The jump to my rank button doesn't work for your country ranking or friends.

[edit] Realm: display problem

Using Google Chrome since the February 2009 update, the link to the Realm, including Everyone, My Network, and My Friends, loads the list to the right of "Lords ranked xxx-xxx in the realm" (rather than underneath it) resulting in only seeing the pictures and part of the names. This prevents me from seeing "jump to my rank", individual rankings, power, vassals, and most importantly being able to jump to the next page of the list. This problem does not occur within IE and was not noticed in Chrome prior to the release of the update.

This problem appears to have been fixed by the March 17, 2009 update. Thanks.

None of my squirrels have disappeared after a week (I started recruiting on 13 February). This is also the case if they have been captured by another player. Some players have been experiencing that the application seems to disappear from there Facebook account (no link in left hand navigation and pic in link). Players are not able to re-install the application and when they try and access there account through a friends link it will not work.

Im not sure if my Army strength is correct...some of my vassals lost some of their vassals and their strength fell but mine did not so im in a higher bracket with stronger enemies...please take a look at this for me... id#193601992

My Army size was 7 the when Knighthood was updated it dropped to 4 why?

The title is self-explanatory. I have seen a couple of examples where the MA has been stuck for hours or days to the exact same percentage. [edit] Buying hammers or Anvils uses up all you're gold

With the upgrade, 0ct 22 2008, when I went to buy some of my hammers from my upgrade, I had 83k. I changed the price in the box to 63k and clicked buy. It applied all 83k to the building. [edit] Just sold vassal, can't sell another

I just sold one 20 vassal, shortly after listing, and tried to list another. I get the unhelpful: "You failed to list Knight So-and-so". Why can't I list him? The release notes say:

Release Date: May 22

   * First stab of a new feature. Selling your vassals. While you can list as many as you want, you can only buy one vassal per day.

Here is my Question the system is counting being gifted a vassal the sane as buying a vassal This is not the same thing is it ? i was gifted a vassal so i could sell it and buy a taskmaster so i sold it and another p20 but because of the gift i have to wait now 24hrs?

[edit] Money disappearing

A few Discussion Topics have developed around this problem. (see: money won't buy expansion. Why?, and: Hey, my Upgraders stole my Gold!!??, and: The marketplace stole my money??!!) Sometimes it seems that Gold is disappearing when this option is executed, especially when a large amount has been accumulated. Even after checking how much Gold has been raided during the time lap of this option, a lot have misteriously disappeared. Just paid 5330 gold coins to hurry expansion of Hospital to size 5 and basically got no reduction of expansion time.

Paid 409 gold coins for expansion of Marketplace from 4 to 5. Money disappeared but expansion did not appear and time clock remained the same. Using FF 2.0.0.15. Cleared browser -- no joy. Restarted computer -- no joy. Knight Bill, wiki login liammcg.

The marketplace took all my money and I lost most of the building progress. I had 4hours to go, paid 2777 gold and it jumped right the way back to 22hrs remaining and took all my gold.

[edit] Healing vassals charges too much

After I attack someone, the game tells me how much to heal my vassals, but when I click "Heal Vassals" I am charged more than the amount listed. It seems to be fairly consistent. If it tells me 40, I am almost always charged 50. If it tells me 50, I am usually charged 60-80. If it tells me 60, I am charged 80-100. If I continue attacking, I notice the amount I am charged will usually drop with time (due to damage done to my target) until just before the amount charged would be the amount listed. After hurrying up the construction of a building by paying for anvils with Gold coins, the amount that come up and shows as a 'flash' under the horisontal Menu, when you hover over the coins picture in the top righthand corner, is not the same as that which appear there or in the amount left to buy more accelleration.

I paid to hurry construction on an expansion of my Watchtowers to Level 4, after paying this my entire amount of Gold disappeared and the timer did not change. I had just raided someone to accumulate enough money for this. Only after an hour did my treasury go up to 1 gc due to my vassel at the marketplace.

I believe this is due to her being in peace mode while her vassal is in war mode.  Per the KH reference, 
"While disbanded (in peace mode), you will be unable to send gold to any other player who is ranked (ie. has an active garrison)."

My liege sent me 20,000 gold coins for my services and it never showed up on my end. I received an email saying that I received the gold, immediately logged in to facebook then knighthood and there was no change in my treasury. I made sure that no one had raided it all away or anything like that. I have a vassal with 20 pikes, but I wish to give him a couple more that were just produced, so I click the yellow checkmark next to his name and all his weapons disappear. Instead of arming him, he is disarmed, and the weapons do not return to the storehouse, they simply disappear.

(17 Aug 08, 2100 PST) I think this bug came about with beta4 but not sure. I had vassals armed with Axes and could attack and rearm them but now they can not be rearmed even though I have axes in my stockpile. I have a couple vassals that are assigned to the axe and I can not change their assignment either. In the arming screen it lets me select a new weapon or them but when I come back to the screen they are back to the axe. Thank you.

I am able to attack with a low power vassal and completely wear down an opponents defense. For example I can attack 20 times with a single 10/10 vassal and then walk through the defenses with 3 10/10s and raid my hart out. This may be buy design, I would expect vassals with 0 power to not be able to attack. On a similar note, I should not be able to attack a defensive structure with six men in it and damage all six with 1 10/10 vassal.

One of my vassals tried to rescue a vassal he lost in a trapper and subsequently lost another vassal to the trapper on the rescue. The rules had stated that trappers are not in play on rescues.

I can't attack with 6 like I used to be able to. Now limited to 4. i built up my barracks/garrison to allow 6. Is it broken? Also my hospital no longer heals vassals for cheaper than 10 gold. It used to.

June 7th,2008. Since BETA 4 I have gotten "you must wait 10 seconds between attacks" on the attack screen and the 'next attack' timer is set to almost one minute. Between the attacks I checked my wall with another tab. This happened several times...I will get a battle ID if it happens again.

Able to raid, but not to seize, rescue or conquer.

Since this morning (3 May 2008) a number of players including myself can raid opponets but not seize, rescue or conqure. I have tried clearing my cache and rebooting and have tried in IE and in firefox. I run windows 2000 with the latest updates.

I can get my opponent's 'select vassal' page up on the screen but if I try to do anything I just get returned to that page the first time. If I try again, the page freezes with 3/4 green bars showing it part loads but doesn't process through.

Viewing the home page of another player, I am getting the 'attack viscount X' - clicking this sends me to the attack screen, but X isn't listed; worse a different player will be selected (making an attack into a random trapper probable). Returning to the target's home screen via another link such as a reference to them on my own home screen, I find that the 'attack' button is still there. Have repeated this cycle several times on different targets; it's definitely not them just dropping off the ABs during the transition.

I have also seen the same problem. I only notice it when I click on a Lord's name on my home page or from a captured vassal's page. I will get that "Attack" button, but clicking on it takes me to the Attack pages with a completely different Lord selected. Thankfully, I haven't lost anyone in traps yet, but it has been confusing. I usually open a lord page in a separate tab (Firefox 3.0.3) and occasionally refresh it for reference. I have seen this too - attack option on a target's lord page that you can't use - and looks related to the same bounce-out you get when the target slips to a slightly higher or lower bracket during the attack selection screens (I saw that version mostly when selecting a vassal / pick action). It was my understanding that there is some sort of time limit that you must wait before you seize a vassal from the same lord.

Now that I look I cannot find a reference to this. I thought there was safeguards in place to prevent mass pillaging of vassals by a single attacker.

I have had a similar experience. Viscount James (Lord id: 1133110560) was able to steal 11 vassals in just 15 minutes! All had become loyal to me and had been with me for between 1 week and several months. Surely this is an error? After clicking on the Seize vassal button, I get a screen with vassals that my opponent has, but when I click on the button Seize This One nothing happens. My browser treats it like an image, not a command. I've tried Firefox, Opera and IE 7 but still it's the same. What do I do?

I get the same problem as described above, everytime after doing this sequence: me raids/seizes -> me fails -> opponents trapper catches lowly vassal -> me rescues vassal (several attempts, sometimes have lost more than one vassal and rescued at least one back) -> me wants to seize again (me and opponent are the same power level, etc) -> me allowed to view opponent vassals but when I click on one and click 'seize this one' the screen just redraws, it doesn't take me to the attack screen -> me = QQ.

After clicking the appropriate selections and then the raid, sieze or rescue button, all I get is a black screen loaded. For rescues I do not losew an attempt, so the try is not going through for some reason, just not loading.

I also hava problem. I've captured numerous vassals and yet none have ever appeared in my court ?

I've been having the same problem - I've seized over 5 vassals and it shows my opponent as losing them, but then they never appeart in my court. Its like I've seized them and then they dissapear!

My problem is slightly different than the previous ones and only showed up after the changes on 05-22-08. I wish to attempt to seize a vassal, so I select one from the list and click "Seize this one"--but the page merely refreshes; I am still at the select-a-vassal page. July 11, 2008: I have several vassals that appear to have been seized by people with significantly higher power rankings. No matter the condition of the vassal's kingdom, I am not getting a 'rescue vassal' option. I don not see the point in attempting to enjoy an obviously broken app, and my vassals are complaining that there is no offer gold/rebel option. No one has been able to swear fealty to me, either. I cannot find how to give you a lord number, and the link to my page is generic. Currently Baroness Deb with a rank of 30644. If I and my vassals remove this app in frustration, do we disappear from the game?

As I understand it, some of the more recent updates have changed the method by which the number of vassals that can attack is determined by the player's title instead of by the size of the barracks. If this is so, then I can not understand why a Count can attack me, a Viscount, especially when our strongest vassals are about the same power. This would make him a fair amount stronger than me and he should not be in my attack bracket. I've lately seized a baroness's vassal. She has tried, as expected, to rescue her vassal and failed. However, even after this baroness was no longer within my range of attack (as she was not in my bracket, she did not appear in my attack windows) she was still able to repeatedly attack me, multiplying raids and seize attempts against my defenses. In short, she could «see» and «attack» me, but I couldn't. Is there an explanation for this? And more importantly, can it be rectified quickly, as this completely unbalances the game.

Same thing happened to me. Only difference is that he attacked me about 500 times over the course of the 3 day period. He never even tried to rescue - just was trying to seize over, and over, and over. Then, he proceed to seize 2 other vassals from me. I could not see him and he was in a completely different attack window ( 20 or 30 power levels above me).

Another attacking issues seems to be the attack list itself. I am currently ranked as a Knight (78,000) in the game, but all I get in the list to attack are Barons and Viscounts. Rarely do I see another Knight. How can someone so low generate a list of such high opponents? Conversely, if Knights and Ladies attack me, they fail, indicating I have a strong defense. However, this attack list must generate the same as everyone who successfully attacks me is at least a Baron. Why are my opponents all at least a level higher than me? As a result I cannot seize anyone (and expand) because I'm not strong enough to attack and too weak to defend.

If I'm not strong enough to compete with stronger levels, then why do I appear on their lists and I get them on mine?

Another attack problem - when clicking on another player who has attacked from attack history, their page will either come up with send gold only, or will also offer the option to attack.When clicking on the attack option, it takes you to the list of people in attack realm, but not on the person who you were intending to attack. Furthermore - after going through each page of those in attack realm, the intended target does not even appear.

Another attack problem- whenever i click the attack option and i get the delay for attacking it goes from 1 hour to 3 minutes..then back up to 1 hour. When I go to my Attack tab, I choose another player to attack by selecting the radio button next to their picture/name. Then, I click the Raid button. It takes a minute to load, and then kicks me back to my homepage. No options for where to attack, no message saying that I actually did attack something. I've tried several times. I'm using Flock 1.0.5 on a Mac running Leopard.

[note: this appers to always happen when the attacking bracket has changed and the person you are trying to attack is no longer in your bracket. this case should be handled in a way that makes sense... such as returning to the attack page and placing a message at the top of the page that says "As you were preparing to attack _____, he/she moved out of your attack bracket"]

This has happened to my account as well, I cannot attack at all. I get shunted to the homepage every time, I've tried several times. I'm running on Windows XP via IE.

New problem with homepage kickback, when I try to rescue my vassal instead of going to the choose where to attack page it takes me back to my homepage. The main problem is that the clock keeps counting down.

I get the homepage kickback no matter what I do. I don't think it has to do with bracket changing because the person I selected to attack is still available to be attacked afterwards. I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.12.

I haven't experienced this problem, but I have had three of my vassals have complain about it. For two of them the problem eventually went away when someone else attacked them, but I have another that goes to war mode and still doesn't have any war mode options. she can't attack, send money, anything.

When I go to attack or rescue a vassal I navigate all the way to the "Choose area to attack" page, but am unable to select vassals to attack with, and so am unable to attack.

I've been trying to seize a squire - but it keeps coming up in the log that I tries to seize Knight Ian (who I did try and seize before giving up and going after the squire) #14002552 and #14002336

Several of my vassals have been loyal for at least 5 hours and are still unable to be used in attacks. Within a few hours I seized around 8-9 vassals of around the same power. Only one of which I can now use to attack, the rest, even though the timer has run out, are not available from the attack screen. My ID is 595769174, vassals I cannot attack with are 617698168 and 1081851281 to name two.

I've tried moving those vassals about in my castle to no avail.

I have also experienced this problem. About 30% of the time seized vassals which are now loyal to me do not show up in the attack window for 12 to 24 hours after the timer runs out on their loyalty to their previous leige. I noticed it two times: once when I capture several vassals in a short period of time and also when I captured one, high-level vassal.

I have had a similar problem to the one below but to a much further extent. It has happened to me a number of times, and this last time I made sure there was no mathematical way that I could be making a mistake. I believe I attacked 86 times, attempting to seize a power 36 vassal from someone with only 6 lvl 20's in addition to a bunch of squirrels. My TAS is 134.2 (53, 39, and 30 vassals - upgraded barracks to lvl 2) and I would heal between about every 5 attacks or so. I attacked all three sections of the defenses with at least 20 shots apiece, guaranteeing that even if the 20's were all located there, I should have been able to seize.

One additional item which refutes the theory that he was healing unbeknownst to me or rotating his vassals. When this occurs the damage your attacking vassals takes changes. This means your healing cost is higher after that round of attacks. This did not occur. I continued to be repelled everywhere and at no time did I get the message that the vassal could not be found. I have encountered this bug numerous times, and I would like to see some resolution as it results in a tremendous hemmorage of gold. The first attack is the last Attack ID listed. My

When I try to seize a vassal at all three locations in the defending liege's capital, each time the game reported that my forces were repelled. It is impossible to know where the target vassal is. (See fight IDs: #15426645, #15426503, #15426302, #15426173, #15426006.) [EDIT Feb. 22, 2008, 11:09 am CST: Further experimentation suggests that if the attack strength is below a certain threshold, the attack will be shown as "repelled" regardless of whether the vassal was there. Have the rules been changed so that you only know whether the vassal is there if your attack defeats the defenders?]

To further this, I attacked a Viscountess Nicola (Attack ID's 1180366, 1179701, 1179090, 1178474, 1177976, 1177505, 1176927, 1175354, 1174779, 1174146, 1173500, 1172909, 1171352, 1170568, 1169891) multiple times, healing my vassals between each attack so they would be a full strength each time. Her "strength" was just above mine (49 to my 40) and she only had 4 vassals (Strength of 30, 20, 20, 20). I attacked each time with myself (40) and 5 vassals (42,10, 10, 10, 10). At the very least, she should have been worn down so that my freshly healed vasslas should have been able to breach the defense. But it never happened. I have lost 5 vassals to similar attacks, where my defenses were worn down by repeated attacks. How is it I cannot use the same tactic? I'm getting very frustrated as I am getting picked apart by people less than me but cannot rescue/attack myself, even people that are "weaker" than

===================Simular problem========================= Baron Sam here, Ever since the weapons chance my attacks aren't being logged on the battle summary page, which I noticed after going to find out why I attacked someone who I easily took a vassel from a day and a half before(and hasn't gained any new since) OVER 40 times in the SAME LOCATION. This in theory should have killed each and every one of her vassels.

But still I was repelled over and over. I'ld gladly give battle Id's so you could look at them and then just say 'nope she was healing quicker than you attacked or something like that" but again they aren't even there. Like I've never had a battle.

Would really like this addressed and if it is a bug, realize you can't just give me one of her vassels but I'm out alot of gold due to this bug.

I was recently attacked and eventually conquered by Viscount Seppo (lord ID 616007117) who has power of 1228/500 which doesn't make sense. In addition, all of his knights are at least 3 times as powerful as mine. Why is he able to attack me in the first place? In additon, Viscount Markie (ID767675916) was able to steal 3 of my vassals all within three minutes of each other. How is this possible?

I was also recently attacked by someone far more powerful than I. When this happens there is no chance for me to rescue them as I can't even see the person on my list let alone rescue a vassal. Playing with the big dogs is one thing, but being picked apart those far stronger than you is another. (Battle 19156544) Why did I even appear on this Baron Jimmy's list if he is over 20 more powerful than me and I have no hope of rescuing my Vassal?

[edit] Change in attack bracket

On occasion, a player who shows up in my attack list becomes unattackable for no apparent reason, even if I try to attack as soon as they show up in my list. Reviewing both their Recent Activity log and mine, I do not see any reason why they shouldn't be in my attack bracket any longer. (e.g., no display of any seizures or change in vassal strength or rank.) Are there non-visible events?

The players displayed in your attack bracket are recalculated every 5 min.  There are many more people with a similar TAS score 
to you than the 10 listed in your attack view.  When the bracket is recalculated, some players may no longer appear for you to 
attack, even though their bracket and yours might not have changed.  This allows players to always have new attack targets, and 
keeps the game more lively--without it, if players in a bracket are particularly active, everyone's alert level in that bracket 
will soon reach 100, effectively stopping play.

When I went into war mode yesterday, almost everyone on all six pages had alerts near 100. Also, except for one or two people every ten minutes or so, all sixty people in the bracket remained the same. Therefore, if the above is true, how did my experience happen? The largest issue I have encountered with this occurs in an extended attack. I have been in the process of assaulting an individual only to have them suddenly removed from my attack bracket. Often, they still show up in the list, but I cannot attack them.

Fights are often not logged on my "Home" page events log (along with healing and any other activity), but if I click "Attack" and then "View Your History of Battles" they show up there. At least I am able to get back at the SOBs that attack me!

Immediately after a fight, sometimes if I view the Lordview of the person I attacked, there is no record of our fight in their Recent Activity. I do not recall whether the fight showed up in my own Recent Activity log.

After the code changes on 19/02/2008 I'm seeing energy of vassals in my defensive regions go down, my alert level go up, but no updates in recent activity showing attacks. Someone is clearly repeatedly attacking me, but I can't see who, or for what reason.

After making an attack, I'm often (1/3rd to 1/2 the time) being returned to the home page with out the latest attack being logged - and the previous attack, which I saw last time I was on the home page, still present in Recent Activity. As the attacks are similar, I didn't notice until I recognised that many of my vassals weren't damaged when they should be, so this has probably been going on for a while.

I've also had this happen.  I keep my attack windows in seperate tabs (complete with 
attack=number or something there-in).  When this happens (using the back button to 
attack) the problem seems to be with cached data.  
As a work around, if this happens, when you hit back afterward (and provided you are 
using an attack tab) refresh the page. 
This happens everytime someone loses or gains a vassal and the cached data doesn't 
match what you see.  A refresh should fix it. - Viscount Lloyd

My attack page repeatedly shows just one opponent, and when I try to attack him, it kicks me out from the "select a vassal to seize" page and returns me to the home page. Then if I click on the attack page it shows a roster of about 6 opponents to attack. Then when I try to select one of their vassals, it kicks me out again to the home page. This repeats and repeats and I'm never able to actually attack anyone!!! This is within the range of ~1-2 minutes total, and has happened over several hours, so it's NOT a case of the brackets getting refreshed.

Since then I have seized several vassals and now I cannot attack people on the last two attack pages. I've also noticed that the people are still the same on the first page. When I get to the "choose vassal to sieze" screen, there are only 12 of the player's 15 vassals available for attack. The missing vassal includes the intended target. This was repeated over hours in latest version of Firefox amd IE 6.0.

29 March - The issue: I tried to seize a vassal from the second page of the vassals target list. It said that the vassal wasn't there, so I pressed the BACK button on the browser, which leaves me on Page 1 of the vassals list (should be on second page, but that is not so anoying). As I want to try seize another one from second page, I went to second page, select another vassal and press the "Seize this one" button. When doing so it forward me to an error page. It happends on pages 3, 4, 5... always... I mean is pretty much reproducible. It happened with several cases, I couldn't find a way to workaround it.

only 3 PCs and 3 NPCs yet attacked

I've just joined KH on Bebo after several months on FB. Today I recruited 3 friends and merrily went building away knowing I need to have 4 PCs to be attacked or to attack. Also became a benefactor and bought a stack of gold to help with building. Went away, came back 2 hours later and most of the gold is gone and one of my knights has been seized. I can't give the battle log # coz I'm not ranked so can't get to it. Happened 4:20 pm BST Sunday August 17th.

Oct 26th - TRAPPERS NOT WORKING EVEN AT 130% of TAS I had my trappers at 130% of my TAS with WT and PL armed. It did not trap the lord that attacked me and it is not the weapons as I varied them all in different combination as I was attacked. My Def were ar 190% of my TAS so technically it should trap. While attempting a rescue, I received the following message after the attack:

"Your soldiers stormed into the palisade region of Knight Maxime's but could not find to rescue Knight Bradley but were repelled by defenders!"

Does that mean they could not find my vassal, or does it mean that they were repelled? Is this a bug, or do I not understand the message correctly?

I went on a crusade for 1 hour, made some attacks and was also attacked myself, which was expected and no problem. When the crusade ended, however, I kept the higher army strength and higher attack bracket for several hours, and I was attacked unexpectedly (albeit unsuccessfully). A player who should have been outside my bracket attacked me 1 hour after my crusade ended; see battles #4844113 and #4844243. I deleted all cookies and deleted the browser cache and restarted the browser (Firefox 3.0 on Linux kernel 2.6.24.17), but it didn't help. The army size returned to normal immediately after the crusade, but the army strength and attack bracket didn't return to normal until 3 hours later, by coincidence just after I had released a squirrel and my power was recalculated.

I may have some of my figures wrong, but I recently had a 75/75 vassal seized by a player who was only about 25/25 himself. This is all despite having no less than 90 defensive points on each trident, and zeal points from the church. Even after the seizure, I still had higher power and X3 vassals, but I was not able to rescue my vassal. How can a far inferior player even see me on the attack board, nevertheless get a vassal?

It was battle #25633474 at 02:42p. "Baron Gary rescued Lady Kimberly from you." How is that possible? This guy's top 7 vassals have less power than my watchtower's FDS (and 2 of those cannot even attack!!). His maximum power with 5 vassals would have been 227, whereas I had an FDS of 328 in my watchtowers + 20 (power of the vassal rescued). Please help me, I don't see how this is possible, it can only be a bug.

If Baron Gary had his rescue party all pray in the church, their power could easily have 
been more than sufficient to rescue. Also, keep in mind that defense against a rescue is 
NOT NEARLY AS STRONG as defense against seizure. That is, a rescue attempt may be able
to get through your defenses successfully where a normal seizure attempt might not be able to.

So, rescuing is lame when there is a trapper. You can rescue someone who gets trapped by the trapper and placed into their court. But your vassals continually get trapped and their defense goes up from it and you can never get your vassals back. whats up with that?

I swore fealty to a friend, was then captured, tried to rebel, and as a result one of my vassals was also captured. When I looked at her (my vassal's) statistics, under Recent Activity, it wrongly switched my name with that of the new captor. "You took part in a weak attack by Viscount Philippe, and Knight Peter's trappers managed to restrain you! Knight Peter is your new liege now!" - The names Viscount Philippe and Knight Peter should be switched, as I did check under Viscount Philippe's vassals to see that my vassal is now serving Viscount Philippe.

For several days I've not been able to rescue, raid or attack. The buttons are all greyed out and underneath the boxes if says "next raid in 30d 21.50.09 (this is counting down, now at 29d and some hours. I've run out of time to rescue any of my stolen vassals now and people are still raiding me though.

and especially right-click "reload this frame" in firefox.

I'm having the same problem and losing time to rescue my vasals...I'm getting staughtered. I don't understand what it is you're saying about how to fix this as I have Internet Explorer...HEEEELLLPPPP!!

Also, when a seized player or their leige has a long name, the timer wraps to a fourth line, and it is hard to tell how much time they have left before they are not able to be rescued. The only way I have found to see the time is to highlight, copy, and paste to notepad.

At 534 am on 20 Jan 08, someone ( Jussi, ranked 1901) seaize one of my vassals ( Dean, not sure of rank, power approx 30) but its not showing up on my rescue vassle options. I experienced something similar. I had a vassal taken, who was mine originally. I found out after less than 24h, but my vassal was already listed as being under the new liege and I had no rescue option. Also, my vassal had not gotten taken by anyone else in the mean time. I Just had the same thing happen earlier today. another player seized my vassal that morning and i wasnt able to rescue them by noon. The vassal had no timer running when he was captured. Lower levels can steal vassals and there is no way to respond? That just isn't right. As noted in this thread, http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=5541055185&topic=5580, even if a lower level attacks you you should have a right to rescue a vassal. Hell, even if someone just steals gold or something from you, you should have a right to respond. If the lower levels want to mess with the big dogs, then they should have to face the consequences. Likewise to vassals that revolt and earn their freedom. Even if they are a Knight, I should be able to go try and get them back.

I may have tracked down the cause of this bug: the example I have found is Baron Olivier (ID: 521928498). At 7.10pm, he was part of an attack by Viscount Sylvain (ID: 547086195) against Viscount David (ID: 521928498). The battle report on Olivier himself incorrectly states that David attacked Sylvain, and that Olivier is now Sylvain's vassal. Obviously, if the system has Olivier tagged somewhere as Sylvain's vassal rather than David's, Sylvain won't be able to rescue him back. This should be the other way round. Initial system gave rescue option only if victim was of same/lower title then the new owner. The new system
recently pushed ignores the rank and instead everybody rescue. We still experimenting with that feature.

NEW POST 3/5/2008 ID=506569059 At 1:02p today, Peter (604945218) attacked my Watchtower. After a repeat attack, he seized Ruth (517294050) from her post at my Watchtower. I found out about it less than five minutes later and immediately looked at Lady Ruth's Knighthood profile and Viscount Peter's Knighthood profile, but all I could do was "Send Gold to ___" - no rescue option anywhere. Under the attack tab, the "Rescue vassals" was not a link at all. Peter was a Baron before he seized Ruth; he is now a Viscount and level 162. I am a level 194 Viscount. Why can't I rescue Ruth?

NEW POST 2/28/08 Battle ID #22413283 I have no idea how he could have possibly rescued the knight in one shot. Given his history, I don't see anyone pledging to him to help. He didn't attack to lower my defenses or anything, just tried a rescue and it succeeded. I don't see how his power could have exceeded my defenses in this battle...? Sorry if I'm missing something, but I don't see it.

NEW POST 3/26/08 I've been unable to rescue anyone for the last half hour, it keeps reverting to the home screen every time I click on "rescue" either from the vassal's screen that I wish to rescue, or through the attack menu. This is maddening.

I've been experiencing the same problem. I've actually seen the same problem when attacking normally. I'll click on the button to attack, and it brings me to my home page rather than allowing me to choose which defensive structure to attack. The same problem is now occurring when I try to rescue my vassal, and this was a vassal stolen by a trapper built by someone no longer playing, so I can't even offer gold in exchange. I had the same problem. I just lost a power 61 (ID: 756615143) because I couldn't rescue for the past day. I figured that the devs would fix the rescue page issues within that time. I currently have a power 83 (ID:1050840091) who was also trappered by the same Viscount (ID: 21409989). I have given up on the first one because I was sleeping on the rescue. Please help fix this so I have a chance at my other vassal!

I've had two different people attack me today and seize a vassal from me. When I go to try and rescue them nothing shows for those vassals. And when I try and attack them I can't because I'm not in their same power anymore. Here is the first instance (ID:#46681144 08:10am) the next one was just now (ID:#46755615 09:57am). This isn't fair and I would like the chance to get my vassals back!

Same here first off I was seized by a trapper on a account that had one 50, one 38, the rest 20's and 10's and I was attacking with 4 70+'s, now one of the 70's has been captured in the trapper I was unable the rescue even with 40 70's fully churched up. Now my brother says after 2 days their is still no option to rebel. Whats up.

I've just had a baron with vassals 115, 45, 40, 20, 20, and a load of 10s rebel succesfully. My defensive structures had DARS of 319, 334 and 362. This last one is where he escaped from. He attacked 3 times, each time breaking through and freeing himself on attempt number 3 (i.e. the 3rd attack would not have any church bonuses).

Running the math, this means he needed to attack with 10 vassals and have barracks/guardhouse level 5. He's been playing for 1 week, and only started recruiting 48 hours ago. He tells me he attacked with approx strength 200.

Battle IDs are #19122294, #19122532 & #19122760.

I just had a Knight successfully rebel against me. However, the locations seem to be messed up.

The Knight (Lady Nadia) was originally captured an hour before the rebellion (battle #24685105)had a strength of 45 and was located in my workshop (behind Palisade). Their original Leige tried to rescue them and was unsuccessful (Battle #24717717). Then the Knight attempts to rebel. The first attempt was against the Wall (battle #24725511), the second against the Palisade (#24725969) and the third against the Watchtower(#24726390) was successful. How could they be rescued from the Watchtower when they were located behind the Palisade? How can they have enough strength to rebel when their lords strength wasn't enough or anywhere near my own?

I just got siezed from my old liege, and it won't give me an option to rebel. It's been 2 days now since my seizure.

I have also experienced the bug listed above, where the locations seem to be messed up. I seized a vassal in battle #68632353 and placed this vassal in the workshop. The vassal then rebelled in battle #68728147 and was unsuccessful against my palisade, because it is heavily defended. She then rebelled against my wall in battle #68728528 and was successful. This should not have been possible due to her location the workshop.

I just got that wrong location bug myself. Seized a vassal in battle #99504647. Moved the vassal over to the tower to prevent a rescue and put defense in Wall (271) and Palisade (223) with almost none in Watchtowers (65) since I don't have enough to run all 3 at the same time. The vassal's old liege tried a rescue against the Watchtowers in battle #99517504 and broke through but didn't find the vassal since she was in the tower. Then the vassal rebelled from the Watchtowers in battle #99523022 and freed herself despite the fact that she was still supposed to be in the tower.

I do not have the link/option to swear fealty to anyone at all- only to send gold. Am I destined to remain sovreign for the rest of my days? I have cleared cache, and all the rest multiple times. I had a Baron request fealty to me today; it looked like every other Swear fealty request. I clicked the button, clicked to accept his fealty, and it said Accepted. In my history it says all the usual about him swearing fealty and me accepting him as my vassal. But now in my list of vassals he has a timer under his name that says I hired him and there are 4 days left on his contract. Now-- I see on his history that two days ago he was hired on a contract by a Baron Tuck; then the next day Baron Tuck released him. But he should not be on a timer now that he has sworn to me... I don't see anything about this anywhere... Captured Mercenaries Act Like Permanent Vassals

When a mercenary is captured, and I never rescue him, then after his seven days are over I can reclaim him, and he is a permanant vassal(I never paid for a second week, or paid him at all, I just reclaim him for good). Not that I am complaining, but this has got to be a bug. btw I always let them go if they ask to leave and wont stay for what I am offering them to stay.

Confirmed. Captured mercenaries are treated just liked normal vassals. Some people have been abusing this "feature." See here and here.

Before you add a new bug about recruiting, please note:

Squires and handmaidens ("squirrels") are supposed to stay for 14 days and then abandon you if they didn't install the application in the mean time. Now the abandon routine doesn't seem to work properly, and some squirrels stay longer than they should. In that case you should be prepared that they may abandon you in a big avalanche at some later time. Nobody leaves earlier than 14 days, but many can leave simultaneously, e.g. 20, 30 or more. To be prepared for this you may want to make notes of who you invite and when.
If you invite people by other means than the standard recruitment page and someone else in parallel invited them the standard way, the new vassal will probably not end up in your court if they install the application.

21-Aug-2008: Usually my vassals appear in the court within few seconds after recruitment, but now I've waited for the last batch almost an hour :( I invited 6 people and the number of allowed invitations was reduced by 6, but none of them showed up and all 6 are still in the recruitment list. I deleted all cookies and deleted the browser cache and restarted the browser (Firefox 3.0 on Linux kernel 2.6.24.17), but it didn't help. The lord IDs of the missing vassals are ...(in the page history). Thanks for your good work :)

Update: About 9-10 hours later I invited another 2 friends, which worked fine. However, the other 6 people have still not showed up and are still in the recruitment list.

Update: About one day later I invited the same 6 people, which worked fine without any explanation. Now I survived the situation since I'm in peace mode, but it could have been critical.

Why cannot i recruit anyone??? I click on the tab and nothing happens.. so far im stuck with only 3 vassals that the game has set up.. CAN YOU FIX THIS AS I AM GETTING ANNOYED WITH IT.. I tried to start over but I cannot..

6-Aug-08 this has happened about five times now. I send a friend to my facebook page have them go to the knighthood app. and click join Baron Coach. Well the install the app and they are a vassal of Baron Andrew. He is not a leige of my leige or any up the chain of command all the way up to King. Why, when I spend all the time to get these people to spend the time to go and install Knighthood do they get assigned to another leige.....???? Can anyone help me out on this one. I have read all the help documents...so forth and so on. But I should have about 5 more knights and I have no clue where to find them as I have a zero reponse on friends in the realm section. I would gladly buy them back but I can't find them as I have said. HELP...want to play but its getting too hard to recruit people when they can't join your army.

The 'Recruit' link/tab/button is dead. Looks like a link but nothing happens when you click it. We just sat down and tried with a few browsers on the same pc. When I log in my recruit link works then when she logs in her link doesn't. Everything else seems to be working fine.

(March 29, 2008) -- When I recruit people, they never actually show up in my court. This problem has persisted for almost a month now, and it has caused my kingdom to become understaffed. This problem has already been reported by someone else, and so I will move that post up here with mine.

I just tried to recruit 8 of my friends. I selected them and sent the Knighthood invitation. I even saw the message that my new recruits will show up in my court, but they're not showing up. I tried to recruit them again, but I'm not allowed to recruit them again for another 24 hours. Can you fix this ASAP? Thanks

I am having some problems with my recruiting. I will recruit some of my friends, and they will show up in court, but for no longer than 5 minutes, then I receieve this message: "Your vassal Handmaiden Sydney failed to show at your Court in time and left your realm. You can recruit Handmaiden Sydney again." No matter how much I try... it just keeps saying the same message.

(March 5, 2008) -- My friend that I just recruited is having the same problem as below. It will only allow him to invite 8 people. The funny thing is that I have other apps installed that are supposed to have a 20-per day invite and they too have only let me invite 8. Maybe a facebook bug? I recruited 8 friends this morning and it now says I've recruited the maximum for the day. When I started playing the game the maximum was 20. At the moment I'm losing vassals faster than I can replace them. Also, the friend who introduced me to the game has stop playing but two mutual friends still appear in his castle even though they are only squires. I want to have the chance to invite them to the game.

I keep going to the recruiting tab only to find no-one left to recruit even though I have another 35 friends on facebook. I contacted some of them to see if they had blocked Knighthood or if they had been recruited by others and NO they had not. This problem started happening three days ago. Problem with recruiting - everytime I try to click on the recruiting tab, it rejects me and says that there has been an "error while loading from Knighthood". Turns out this only happens when I can't recruit more people - there should be a better screen than an error letting me know it is too soon to recruit again.

Problem with recruiting (Feb 20, 2008) I am getting the same problem as above. I picked 20 friends to recruit and when I clicked on "Send invitation", it brought up an error saying that there are still issues to be ironed out and to try again or if the problem persists, to try later. Problem is, that when I "try later", it registers that I have reached my cap for the day...even though the invite wasn't sent.

When I added Knighthood, I sent invites to 7 people and thought "Wow! I get 7 vassels!". With this marvellous insight, I returned and invited 13 more. Upon returning to the main screen, I saw that I still only had 7 vassels. Darnit. I thought it might have been a 24hr thing and after 24 hours I invited another 20 people. Still only 7 vassels.

I then thought I would start again, so I released my 7 vassels and removed the program. Upon re-installing it I found I still had my kingdom, but now I have no vassels. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

If you want to check the specifics, my name on Facebook is Peter Wright. It might also be an idea to have a re-set Kingdom button.

Could we try to get a solution to this one. It's happening to me as well and it's really ruining the game for a passionate player.

I have recruited a friend a few days ago -- but definitely in a week. He installed the application and then temporarily resigned from his realm. After some time, he appeared on my recruit page while being my vassal as a Knight. (However there is at least one friend I cannot see in my friend list and I guess not recruited before...)

I'm having that same problem, I should be a lady not a knight. My facebook profile is set to Female and it has been the whole time, I was just recently turned into a knight out of nowhere. I tried changing my sex in my profile to male then back to female and it still isn't changing. Can you not fix this somehow?

I click on the 'recruit' button and the page starts to load, but then the typical 'internet explorer cannot find this page' or 'did not load' comes up. Do you happen to know why this is? I would like to recruit to replace the ones being lost so I don't get too far down on my stuff.

Vassals I recruited never expired. I started playing, and recruiting on January 19th and only one vassal, who was trapped by someone else (a sacrificial lamb if you will) ever gave me the "failed to show" message. The others are all still in my court. I have never had a 10 point vassal "expire". I kept waiting for them to, but they never did.

I think the app did not install properly, because it does not show up on my profile page (I enabled it) and I can't edit it from the edit applications option in facebook. Whilst viewing an opponent's activity report I noticed that he'd recruited 40 vassals on the same day (13 Feb 2008). It will show the announcement on their Facebook homepage that they added the application, and it will show the application on their Facebook page, but it still shows them as Squires/Handmaidens on their page, and they never become Knights/Ladies in my court. One friend even added the application and then got rid of it for me, and it showed that "Handmaiden Sarah temporarily resigned from ruling their realm." on my annoucements, however it never showed an update that she accepted, and was made a Lady - because she wasn't, she still shows up as a Handmaiden even though she added it for me. According to the reference, the tower is supposed to... a) Auto heal vassals after a battle. I had one opponent stop attacking me at 12:48 and saw another one begin at 1:03. 15 minuutes went by between battles and my vassals went unhealed. b) Protect gold. Basically it all got raided during the fight and now I have zero left.

On 4/26/08 I increased the size of my Workshop from 6 to 7. Suddenly all upgrades available for the workshop to work on, dramatically increased in time to completion (ex. from 2d to 11d) even though I actually added to the workshop. I have tried using the app from multiple computer and multiple browsers to see if it was a temporary glitch when I added a 7th person. It has not went away. I have vassals in my outpost, but my alert level is not rising at all after several hours/days.

Likewise. My Outpost has simply stopped functioning, despite being fulled manned and upgraded several times. This really sucks. I have already lost all of my most powerful vassals as a result. I've spent months building up my Kingdom, but this unfair and frustrating bug is now destroying it all. I'm likely to abandon Knighthood before too much longer if it isn't fixed.

I am experiencing the same problem. I have a fully manned outpost and have done the required attack. Nothing happens. My alarm keeps going down.

I am having the same issue, I currently have an outpost of size 2 and level 4. My alarm will rise to about 40ish over the course of a few days, but then it just drops to zero until I attack and then it starts over. Knighthood needs to program in a max alarm (based on level and size or whatnot) and allow the Alarm to reach it and remain. I am wondering if this is not as much of a bug as poor planning, with the original intent of preventing people of getting alarm ratings of thousands, but the loop is not regenerating.

Recently i tried to upgrade my castle from size four to five, on march 29 at 1:10pm and it said it would take about 9 hours. With only 10min to go the clock, it jumped back up to 23 hours and i didn't receive the size upgrade, instead I'm still waiting for my size 4 upgrade which is now counting down from 23 hours. I've was reading some rules and comments on this page and found nothing for that so i would appreciate if you someone could look into that for me. I just had a nearly identical problem, but I was upgrading my castle from 3 to 4. I last saw it with 2 minutes and 41 seconds left. I came back to the site about 10 minutes later and I had 23 hours and some odd minutes left. I began castle construction at noon, and this problem just occured less than 25 minutes ago. (19 May 2008)

My problem was very similar. I tried to upgrade my castle from level 1 to level 2. It told me 2 days+ for the upgrade to complete. I waited a bit... got antsy and about 2 hours later finally gave in and clicked to BUY my upgrade for all the gold I had... which I believe was about 528 pieces. It took my money (Damn it!) and left me with nothing but also did NOT immediately upgrade my castle. It didn't even speed up the process. Just took my money & kept on counting. On my homepage it does have a note that I "paid 528 gold coins to hurry upgrade of Castle to level 2." but it is still counting down and presumably will be for the next 2 days. I've pillaged over 20,000 weapons so far in Knighthood and I'm unable to arm any of my knights with them e.g. I have 19,000 axes - 100 of which were produced locally in the Axeshop, the rest were pillaged. When rearming my knights - either at the castle or after an attack, I can only use the 100 that were produced locally. Even though I have 18,900 axes remaining the rearm link is greyed out for the vast majority of my knights at the castle or it shows that I need more axes to heal and rearm my knights after an attack. Disarming and trying to rearm a Knight doesn't work either, all that does is reassign the 100 local axes available. It doesn't seem like the weapons pillaged are being added to the local shop total.

When healing vassal, the spinner does not allow to go down to zero (0) value. But we can edit the value itself and set it to zero (0).

First it pops up with a small red X where the image / code should be, then the red X disappears and it's totally blank. I'm using Firefox 3.0.5. Emptied cache. Restarted. No luck. Then tried with IE7 and got the red X but it stayed there instead of disappearing. Right clicked properties of the red X in IE7. Bottom line, if I can't heal I can't play the game. This bug is a 100% show-stopper.

The church is bugged, works for some vassals and players but not for all. [ - fixed? Rob 06:53, 18 January 2008 (PST)]

There is now a new bug (at least, I assume it's a bug) that the number under the crossed swords no longer appears. This makes it impossible to see how much power a vassal in the church has accumulated. Moving the vassals into another building makes it possible to see their zeal, but this is rather inconvenient. Vassals which were in the church during the last KH downtime appear to be most likely to suffer from this problem.

The zeal of vassals in my church has stopped rising for at least 10 hours. I am in the middle of upgrading the church - has this interrupted my knights prayers? (lordid=529341618)

The icon showing the zeal of the vassal is not updating while the vassal is still residing in the church. I transferred the old vassals out of the church and new vassals in and the icons immediately updated. Please find a way to let the zeal icon update for vassals still in the church.

Sept 15th 4 (!!!) of my vassals were trapped by Baron Berima - He managed to seize a knew one whenever I tried to rescue my vassals...I couldn't win a single fight, even though he's not stronger (or rather wasn't stronger, when I first attacked him) and has (or rather had) less vassals! Whenever I tried to rescue my vassals, I got the massage that I stormed the capital but "could not find" my vassal, or that I was repelled. I know that this is just a game, but it is getting kind of frustrating...!

There is no metion of the battle that i actually lost my vassal in. it is the same in the battle history:

May 31 - Battle ID #77444667: I attacked and healed my vassals as I went using my top 4 vassals, 101, 90, 30, and 28, after several attempts to seize a vassal, my top vassal -101- was trapped. The person I was attacking did not have a vassal this strong. His top vassal was a 91. I never let my 101's damage go below 95. Plus it was my strongest vassal. Can you return my vassal, as this has to be a glitch. There is no Battle ID# specifically mentioning the trapping but it happened when I tried to seize at this battle ID. Thanks

May 12 - Battle ID #60151027. Used top two vassals (45 & 20) to raid wall of opponent who only had vassals of 10 strength. Trapper took my 45 - now unable to rescue as not powerful enough. Believe this is a glitch as trappers only supposed to take the weaker one. (It is suprising my raid failed at all against lots of 10s). Please can you investigate and return my vassal? Thanks.

May 11 - Battle ID #59089374. Used my Top Vassal (Power 32 & 28) to raid capital. Power 28 Knight got taken. The power of the vassals of the Baron I raided capital were all 20 or under 20. According to wiki help, "In order to succeed (trapping), the vassals in the Trapper must be stronger than the attack (before applying casualties)." How come my Power 28 Knight captured by Power 20 vassals. If it is a bug, please return my friend(if possible). The other thing is, after I tried a few times to rescue my Knight, I am unable to find the rescue button from my Knight page.

April 22nd - Battle IDs #44382505 & #44384654 - (Very similar to the one posted below) I raided my opponent with two Level 20 Vassals for Gold, but one was caught in a Trapper. My opponent only had Level 10 Vassals and I only have a 2 man Barracks. I also lost another 20 vassal after trying to rescue the first. Can you please fix this and return both of my Vassals to me?

April 21st - Battle ID #42897138 - I raided my opponent with two Level 20 Vassals for Gold, but one was caught in a Trapper. My opponent only had Level 10 Vassals, but more importantly I only have a 2 man Barracks. I didn't think I could be attacked (or attack) someone with a higher size barracks than me. They have obviously got at least a size 5 Barracks, as they have built a Guardhouse and a Trapper? Could you please fix this and return my Vassal to me?

April 17th - battle id #39133475 - Iattacked with 2 vassals. One lvl 34 and one lvl 27. The opponent had only lvl 10 vassals. How could he ever captured my lvl 27 lady??? By trying to rescue her I also lost a lvl 20 knight. Battle id #39175764. Please get back to me as soon as possible.

April 12Th - battle id #35064112 - I attacked had just healed all my vassels - on this attack I had a level 24 knight trapped although I had also used 2 level 20 vassels in this attack.

April 9th - battle ID: #32160275 I lost a 105 level baroness to a level 112 Baron and she was not my weakest person I sent in the raid... The first raid #32160120 didn't yield a trap and netted me 509 gold.

But the trapper KEPT trapping....it never filled.......TEN VASSALS MORE PAST MY ORIGINAL 2 that never should have been caught in the trapper in the first place. In the meantime, my 45, who is my very best friend, was trying to rebel since she was now his largest vassal. Rebellion unsuccessful every time (while I was rescuing-double hits-she tried at least 5 times I believe....all for naught. One of my 20/20 vassals was captured in a trapper. When I tried to rescue him, my strongest vassal of 165/175 (lordid=150802305) strength got captured, and NONE of the others were. The lord with the trapper is lordid=70609602. The battle id is #12567480.

I knew a trapper was in operation, but had calculated for me to fail the raid would have required all of the top vassels, leaving mostly 20's for the trapper. Can you confirm please that the result of this battle was correct (i.e. that the defender had enough strength to repel my attack, and that the trapper had enough strength to take a vassel).

Battle ID: #33322602 I used my top vassals + a squire. I checked the raiding party, hit the Watchtowers, and was returned to learn that at that exact point, the squire had left the court, and the lowest of my viscounts had been trapped instead. So, even though having checked the squire for the attack, it did not actually participate. I would like to see something done to prevent such a thing from happening. I don't know if there's a bug with the squires or if was just a very unlucky coincidence. I do have some squirrels sitting in my court, though, without loyalty timers. Earlier, the squires used to leave the court no later than when loyalty time ends.

Battle ID: #1594948 I used my 2 strongest Vassels, 154 & 76, to attack someone who's vassals are weaker than 70. But my weaker vassles was captured. I think the trapper only works when the attackers are weaker than vassals working in it. I don't understand how this could happen. Actaully, I tried 3 times and the last time I sent the 154 vassals alone. And everytime one of my vassals was captured.

I attempted to seize a vassal today, and during my (supposedly) "weak attack", the target managed to retain one of my vassals in her trapper.

Now, I understand the concept of trappers so I ALWAYS take a squirrel as "trapper bait" but today, my squirrel (a lowly 10) came home with me while one of my fave 20's was kept behind in the nasty trapper dungeon. Isn't it "supposed to be" the lowest rank/weakest member that is captured by the trapper?

March 20, 2008 I attacked a fellow viscount who was approximately my lvl around 160/500. Her alert was less than 20%. She only had three level 20s with 122 vassals so I felt safe attacking with my two level 44 vassals. I was attempting to seize her last level 20 and one of my lvl 44s was trapped. I don't believe she had all of her 20s in the trapper because I couldn't push through her defenses. On subsequent rescue attempts I lost two more vassals, both lvl 24, to her trapper. Again, how can a vassal be trapped on a rescue attempt???

BUG IN TRAPPER - ILLEGAL TRAPPING I lost one of my knights to a trapper so I tried to rescue her. I ran out of rescues and so then tried to seize her. I lost several squirrels to his trapper while attacking his wall. So then tried to attack his Watchtower and did not lose any squirrels to a trapper so kept trying. Then on the last try, his trapper kicked in but it didn't take the squirrel. it took my TOP Knight Kevin (110).

I thought the rules said it should only take my 2nd knight. I was attacking with 2 knights. If these are the rules then it is wrong to lose my top knight and I would like him back please.

Instead of grabbing the weakest of my attackers, the trapper grabbed my best vassal (a 51 and 5 20's attacked). Now he is the best vassal of who I attacked.

Also I been noticing some bugs in the transfer vassal code, clicking a building on the second pull down menu, does not always go to that building contents. Then you do transfer the code is run but it does not update the transfer until you have refreshed by going to that building page again.

I have one that according to her page left, but is still showing in my hospital. The issue here is that when I try to assign or swap vassels working in the hospital I can not do anything with her. She is only 10/10 and sometimes I would like to have mroe power in the hospital. Now again my hospital shows full for example I have 3 max vassels to work in hospital it shows 3/3 but when you hit the transfer vassels button it only list the other 2 vassels in my hospital. This is a bug and should be fixed.

I cannot assign any vassals to the Hospital at all. I click on Assign Vassals, select vassal(s) to transfer to the Hospital, click Transfer Vassals Between Buildings, the page loads and no one has been transferred. [2]

I am just starting out and was automatically put into war mode. I have acceepted a couple vassals from my buddy who invited me and is my liege, but I never gathered my armies and had at least one vassal stolen. I go to the Garrison and hit "Disband Armies" and when I return to my home page the notice says that i "have gathered armies and am now ready for war" I can not get out of this cycle and if I gain any more vassals, I'll be attacked again and have not even built my weapons buildings yet so I can't defend myself. PLease help!

I was in peace mode with only squirrels and after accepting a vassal from my liege found I was ranked and in war mode. I've tried disbanding my army but to no effect.

I'm using Mac OS X 10.5.4 and Firefox 3.0.1 (earlier I'd experienced the constant refresh problem which was sorted by signing out and in to FB).

I found myself in War Mode when I logged in this morning and that I had had several vassals as well as all of my gold taken. I have never gathered my armnies I am in WinXP and using Mozilla Firefoz 3.0.1

Not technically a bug, but no other place to report it.

I had a freeman whose contract was due in a few hours (over two, don't know exact time). I wanted to put it on sale, and then the system went down (on the October 22nd upgrade), and remained down for over three hours. When the system returned, of course the contract has already expired, not giving me any chance to either renew the contract or sell the freeman, thus making me lose all the money I paid for the freeman.

I seized a mercenary (Baron James lordid=584171085) on June 25th. When his rescue timer ran out, he acquired a hired timer, which is now at 2 days, 13 hours and change. Is this just a reference for him and the liege that hired him or am I going to lose him in 2 days? I read the help information about this and I believe I seized him fairly and he should continue to be my vassal once this hired timer expires, but I read nothing about a hired timer. Added 7/4/08: Yeah, so I hired someone I didn't want (a 30 for 51K!! I would never do that). The part that frustrates me is that I had clicked "hire" on a $6.6K 25p vassal, and when it refreshed to show me if I was successful on hiring her or not, it was this 30 I had hired instead. Is there some way you guys can help me out with this? I don't want the 30 and I want my $$ back!! This happened in Internet Explorer. I have never had this issue in Firefox. I was hired as a merc on 7/3 and subsequently hired a merc as well. The hired merc was released as expected after her timer ran out (and shortly prior to Beta 4.3 release). I was trapper-seized briefly, released, and reclaimed by my liege within two hours (7/10) so I expect that my timer was suspended for a short period of time and restarted. I suspect that the merc timer may have also been halted for a few hours during last night's deployment outage. I still appear to be under contract, however, as of 7/11 6:33pm PDT. I can sell and release vassals, which I wasn't able to do originally while under contract. Is the merc timer still running? Lord ID: 1029521177.

Update 7/12: I am still not released, and I noticed that none of the other mercs hired by Mikko around the same time have been released either. One of them posted on his wall requesting release. Over 8 days have passed since the contracts should have expired.

---Another merc issue I was hired as merc on 12/9 and should have been released on 12/16. On 12/15, it said I had 1 more day left, but when the 16th came up, I was never released. Please help. Now my new unwanted liege won't let me go.

I hired a merc (lord id=666388114)and several hrs. later he was promoted to a hire title. When the contract was voided I was not refund the price, as i had been before. The merc offered to refund me the the contract price and said that he sent it and that it is in his recent history, but i never received it and dont see it in either of our histories. I hired a Mercenary and although his timer ran down to 00:00:00 he didn't automatically leave my service. I ended up with an extra day of his service, which was nice for me but rough on him - I had to release him manually. Again, rough on him cos he lost a day while I waited to see if this was going to fix itself. This mercenary was never trapped or seized while in my capital. lordid=9610009

Currently I am expanding my marketplace. It appears correctly from capital view and castle view, but when I click on Build/Expand, it says 'BuildAreaExpanding Marketplace now' instead of 'Expanding Marketplace Now'.

Minor Cosmetic Issue - Upgrade bonuses show up differently on the Capital page than on the details page. For example, I have 50 power in my Marketplace and one upgrade. On the Marketplace screen is shows +2 and on the Capital screen it shows +3. The hourly rate shows as 52/hr on each. Of course, the rate is probably 52.5/hr, but one screen rounds up and the other down.

I think there's a mistake about Churches. The crossed swords go up past 10. I think they either go up to your power for that vassel or to 10 bellow this number. Someone confirm? Oboler 06:53, 25 December 2007 (PST)

Recently I was trying to expand my Hospital to 5 and every time I paid gold to speed up the process by clicking on "buy," more time would be added to the amount of time the building would be completed. I paid 2,000 gold to speed up the process and my time to finish went form just over an hour to over 18 hours!

I guess there is a bug in calculating army strength; The vassals that are seized can't be used in attack for 3 days. But they are calculated in army strength...

Fairly self explanitory title really. I am able to add (depending on day) 3 - 20 vassals a day (although it hasn't been 20 for a while I usually get a day of 12 vassals I can add every blue moon though, 8 is the most common amount). I am well aware that vassals abandon you if they do not accept the invitation to the game in a set amount of time. But I expect a reasonable amount of vassals to abandon in said time limmit e.g. 3 vassals added when time comes for those three to abandon 50 leave at once, then another 20 per day for 9 days. In short I am hemoraging vassals due to a collossal glitch. PLEASE SORT THIS GLITCH OUT ASAP AS I WILL REMOVE THE APPLICATION IF THIS IS NOT SORTED OUT SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly today (Thursday 28th August 2008) I found that my armies had gathered sometime last night and as a result I lost my vassal Lady Danielle as well as about 105 Gold was stolen, Both by Barron John. I obvously would like the vassal back but will try to ransom her off John as his actions are fair and simply put part of the game.

Further to this I apparently Paid 50 Gold to heal my vassals at 07:44 British Summer Time the problem with this is that I was asleep at 07:44 and as such would find turning on my computer, logging into face book and knighthood and then paying to heal my vassals impossible when I am not concious, this blatantly shows that a hacker was on my account, I have changed the password on my facebook account and already suspect that I know who has done this as the person who captured my vassal I do not know BUT one of my vassals (my former fiencee Charlotte Austin) has hacked onto my email account (when it had a diffeent paassword to the one I use on facebook) before).

When I tried to disband my armies I found that there is no timer telling me when they will be disbanded, so I am stuck at the moment.

In Conclusion I would like knighthood and Facebook to investigate the IP address/ if possible the culprit who hacked onto my account whilst I was asleep, activated my armies causing me to loose a vassal and Gold as hacking is a criminal offence. I also wish knighthood/ facebook to allow me to disband my armies as I am unable to do so. A response/ solution would be appreciated preferably a speedy one.

I have lost my Knighthood account. Somehow mine and my friend's Facebook accounts were co-mingled when she logged on my laptop and Facebook assumed our emails and accounts the same. My account Encara Dovesong was wiped. They've done little to help me restore it. So I've created a new Facebook, however I want my original KnightHood Encara back please, the one I've spent months developing. I can't say I know for certain my 'LordID, since I can no longer log into the original Encara account,my vassals see it however. Please Help me, I am posting this from my original Encara forum account.

As stated on Recovery Plan B : [["You can now disband your armies. The button to do so is in your garrison. It takes 24 hours to disband them, you can cancel this process any time if you wish. It no longer takes 24 hours to gather them back. While your armies are disbanded, you are not included in the rankings, so you cannot attack anyone or be a target of an attack yourself."]]

The oddest thing is that I just disband my army and waiting for the stated 24hrs period. What happen next is others begin to raid and pillage me. One even capture my vassal. Intrigued I checked and see "Rescue" option also on my vassal status, thus I proceed to rescue.

This surely on contrary to what have been stated in the FAQ.
