After each battle, your hoods will come home weary of their wounds and will slowly regain their strength with time. If you wish to give time a gentle push, send your loyal men to the Emergency Room. The healing skills of your mob docs will get them back on their feet in double time. You also may spend your cash on expensive healing techniques that restore your hoods regardless of whether they are in the Emergency Room or not.
Emergency Room increases family health regeneration rate, or Healing Rate, and heals instantly for cash.
Asset Emergency Room requires Hide Out
Emergency Room unlocks the "Heal" button which allows you to spend cash to heal hoods instantly (10 cash per point).

- Emergency Room production accelerates all hoods' healing for entire city.
- Emergency Room upgrades increase the healing rate for city.
Healing time is ~5 hours from zero to full health (not confirmed) without anyone in the Emergency Room. Therefore, the healing "rate" will vary by hood, similar to bar hype rates. e.g. if a 20 takes 5 hours to heal from 0 to 20, the rate is 1 hit-point per 15 minutes. A 10 would therefore have a heal rate of 1 point per 30 minutes. You can elect to "auto-heal" your vassals, at the rate of 10 cash per hit-point, instead of waiting for healing. Populating the emergency room speeds the healing for all hoods in the city.
Emergency room Healing Rate = Base Healing Rate / (1 + [Healing Bonus % / 100])
where
Healing Bonus % = SUM(hood power in emergency room) x [1 + (# upgrades x 0.05)] x 300 / (total hood power excluding punks/homegirl)
100% means your hoods heal in half the regular time. The healing bonus displayed in the emergency room is proportionate to emergency room production divided by total hood power.
