Outpost

Vassals in the Outpost increase your Alert Level (AL). Alert Level plus Mobilization Level (ML) gives Alarm Bonus (AB) which helps you defend against seizures. Mobilization Level increases when you are attacked whereas Alert Level is generated when you attack. Alert Level resets to zero when you attack, increases from zero to its peak value over 24 hours and decreases from peak to zero over the next 24 hours. Attacks during the declining half of the cycle hasten the decline.
The defensive value of the Outpost does not affect seizing or rescue.
The amount of Alert generated per hour is calculated as the defensive value of the Outpost divided by 12. The peak value of the Alert Level is equal to
2 x SUM(power of vassals in Outpost) x (1 + [# of Outpost upgrades * 0.05])
